Recent trips were taken to view art and culture, see old friends and meet new ones, to Cuba (Havana, Vinales, and Playa Giron) and Japan (Kyoto, Tokyo, Naoshima) in the Spring of 2016.

In keeping with my past activities, I mailed collaged postcards home from Japan.

Images taken on both these trips will most assuredly show up in future work. I am about to begin a new series to complement and expand on Postcards of Japan which I completed in 2013. Digital images are printed on Japanese washi, and then collage materials are applied onto these images, or appear in windows cut into the images.
